We believe first impressions matter and set the tone for your dogs experience with us. When you enter Gr8DogsAZ you immediately notice how clean, pleasant and welcoming it is. Our reception area has a whimsical color scheme with soft music playing in the background and aromatherapy candle scents. There is a well-organized selection of dog foods and products for your convenience. You will be greeted immediately and have an opportunity to meet your dog's groomer to personally discuss your grooming desires and concerns. A file is created for each dog with detailed grooming instructions, special needs and health issues. You will feel comfortable leaving your canine companion in our care.

Your dog will be treated to a warm bath using premium professional shampoos. Every bath includes a complementary cream rinse, if indicated. A fresh clean towel is used for each dog. We use a fluff drying method on most dogs. Dogs who cannot tolerate the dryer noise are placed in a quieter environment with circulating warm air, until dry. This method takes additional time, but for some of our dogs works best. Our service includes ear cleaning, toenail clipping and gently expressing anal glands. Careful attention is paid to make this a pleasant experience for your dog. Next, our highly skilled experienced groomers will style and scissors finish your dog. Your groomer will carefully note any concerns, they have noticed, which you may want to address with your veterinarian. Once grooming is completed you will be called. Dogs can be picked up at once or you may arrange for them to stay a bit longer. Dogs spending several hours at Gr8DogsAZ will be walked and given a cool drink of water.
